Bio Poem

I teach fifth grade, and I needed some student work to put up in our classroom. My teammate Jeff gave me the idea to write Bio-Poems. A bio poem is a writing assignment that allows you to tell about and describe yourself in a creative way using a specific format! Then we used the Photo Booth application to take our picture and... Ta-Da!!!! I modeled one for the students, so I thought I'd put it up here too!

Line 1: Your first name
Line 2: Four words that describe you. (adjectives)
Line 3: Son or Daughter of... (names of your parents)
Line 4: Lover of... (list 3 things you love)
Line 5: Who feels... (3 things that create emotion)
Line 6: Who needs... (3 things you need to make you feel good)
Line 7: Who gives... (3 things you give to others)
Line 8: Who fears... (3 things that you fear)
Line 9: Who would like to see... (3 things you would like to see happen)
Line 10: Resident of... (city, state)
Line 11: Your last name
